Netflix's original series "Squid Game" is the first Korean drama to top Netflix in the United States.
According to Flix Patrol, "Squid Game" ranked first in Netflix's 'Today's Top 10 Content in America' for September 21. The Korean drama beat 'Otis' Secret Counseling Center' falling to second place, "Clickbait" took the third spot of the rank.
This is the first for a Korean drama ranked #1 in Netflix US. The record-holder was "Sweet Home" starring Song Kang, Lee Jin Wook, Lee Si Young, Lee Do Hyun, and more, which previously ranked #3 in the United States.
