Netflix ha diffuso il trailer di Ghost in The Shell: SAC_2045, la nuova serie animata basata sul manga Ghost in the Shell di Masamune Shirow.

Ghost in The Shell: SAC_2045 – che arriverà sulla piattaforma di streaming in aprile – è diretta da Shinji Aramaki (Appleseed) e Kenji Kamiyama (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex), con il character design dell’illustratore russo Ilya Kushinov (The Wonderland). Avrà 2 stagioni di 12 episodi ciascuna.



Oltre ai manga originario di Shirow, il mondo di Ghost in the Shell comprende già due film animati, entrambi realizzati da Mamoru Oshii (nel 1995 e nel 2004), tre serie animate (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex del 2002, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex – 2nd GIG del 2004 e Ghost in the Shell: Arise del 2013) e un film live-action del 2017 diretto da Rubert Sanders e interpretato da Scarlett Johansson.
